What is Leave A Legacy?
An important part of every
estate plan is considering the extent to which charity should
be included.
Leave A Legacy is
a program of the National Committee on Planned Giving which
promotes interest in charitable giving through a will or
an estate.
Leave A Legacy ,
established in Harvey County in 1998, works hand in hand
with area philanthropic groups, such as Newton Community
& Healthcare Foundation, to encourage charitable planned
giving.
Newton Community & Healthcare
Foundation is one of about 30 area organizations that support
Leave A Legacy. The foundation has a strong interest
in Leave A Legacy because it extends the mission
it promotes.
The annual Leave A Legacy
campaign seeks to raise awareness in the community by teaching
individuals how they can leave a legacy through charitable
giving.
