Studies for Certification
In an effort to provide the
most comprehensive planned giving knowledge to individuals,
Newton Community & Healthcare Foundation's executive
director, Loren Friesen, has gone back to school.
He's completing studies to
receive his Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG)
designation at the American Institute for Philanthropic
Studies in Long Beach, California.
"This course is a great
way to broaden my knowledge, to make sure I'm on the cutting
edge of the planned giving field," said Friesen.
The six-module program will
take Friesen eight months to complete.
