Web Site & Newsletter Win Awards

The Newton Community & Healthcare Foundation Web site and LEGACY newsletter have won five awards recently in three competitions.

The Web site won an honorable mention in the National Federation of Press Women contest after competing with first place winners from other states. The site had won the first place award from Kansas Professional Communicators (KPC) before advancing to the national level.

The LEGACY newsletter won a second place award in NFPW competition after winning the first place state award.

The quarterly publication also won an Award of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) state chapter.

The Web site and newsletter both won awards the previous year from PRSA and KPC.

All organizations include men and women in various fields of the
communications industry.

The Web site and newsletter were created by Jane Lee Communications, a public relations/advertising agency that has won more than 250 state and national awards for campaigns, publications and Web sites.

Contributing to the winning materials were Jane Lee, APR, agency owner; Sheila Lucia, senior associate; and Greg May, graphic designer.
