Tournament Grants & Awards
Proceeds from Newton Community
& Healthcare Foundation's Ninth Annual Benefit Golf
Tournament in May have netted grants totaling $11,000 for
area not-for-profit organizations.
Grant recipients include:
- Newton Medical Center
Women's Center: $9,000
- Leave a Legacy: $1,000
- Central Homecare &
Hospice: $500
- Health Ministries of Harvey
County: $500
Silver sponsors, those contributing
$1,000 or more to the tournament, included Adrian &
Pankratz, P.A., Central Care Cancer Center, Emergency Services
of Kansas and First Bank of Newton.
Bronze sponsors, those giving
between $750 and $999, were American Express / Michael Petitjean,
Axtell Orthopedics, Dr. Charles Isaac, Dr. Stephen Cranston,
Norma and J. Wendell Wiens, Ikon Office Solutions, The Newton
Kansan, Great Plains Imaging, LLC, and Jane Lee Communications,
Ltd.
